After watching this video, It reminds me of certain parts of my hometown. My hometown is slowly improving with the help of law enforcement and political leaders cleaning up the streets. As for people like us trying to help a community thats in a similar state, we should try conducting a awareness week, volunteering, etc.

two things he said there that are so true... He said that the measure of any society is how it treats its' weakest element.. when I saw those clips I thought there's no way that that could be happening. But he also said that Las Angeles is America's first third world city. I think our video project should have this effect. Where we can do something fun and light... I want people to see something that shocks them. It's that shock that makes people change. Let's do it.

I think in relation to the video project we have a great opportunity to mimic this in our own albany community. We have all hear and see similar situations here in albany. It's an excellent opportunity to exploit these issues not only to the bonner family but also to the siena community. I agree that our video needs a shock factor and should not be sugar coated.

I also agree that we should shock. After watching this I felt as though you hear about these things but you never see them. We are right next to a really under privileged community and we should use it to make our videos meaningful.

This video is very touching and I think that in relation to our video project that maybe we should make a video similar to this in our Albany community. I also think that we should video tape when we go on our trip at the end of the semester because I think we are going to make a big dent in some of the issues similar to the ones present in this video.
